| Angels for Angels |
Alveolar Capillary Dysplasia, or ACD, is a rare and devastating condition that cruelly takes infants' lives. It is a pulmonary disease that presents itself without warning and is always fatal. At the present time there is no known cause, though it is possibly genetically linked. It is also possible that it may play a role in some cases of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).
Tragically, this disease has touched the lives of actress NiCole Robinson and her husband Craig Snyder multiple times. When it took the life of their son, Lincoln, in September 2007, they chose to channel their grief into a passionate and determined quest - to find the cause of ACD and to prevent it from ever taking lives again. They created the 3 Angels Memorial Fund for ACD Research to support their efforts.
EVERYTHING begins with AWARENESS. Using all our resources, Maddie's Corner has pledged to do all that we can to support the 3 Angels Fund in its mission.

Angels Wear

Never underestimate the power of fashion to help spread a message. This is Maddie's Corner so we need to get our dogs (and cats!) in on the act. To get the word out, we created these very special bandanas that let everyone know that working together there is hope in the fight to stop ACD.
And so we don't leave out the people behind all the four-legged messengers, we have created some angel-inspired items so everyone can raise awareness about ACD and the 3 Angels mission.

A Penny from Heaven

Sometimes it's the little things that mean the most. A few coins here, a few coins there. We toss our change aside and often forget about it. But toss those coins into a jar for even a month and suddenly that little bit of change can add up!
We'd like to invite you to do just this on behalf of The 3 Angels Fund. Collect your change for a month, maybe ask your friends to do the same. It's an easy way to help make a difference, and as we like to say: "A little change can do a lot of good! If we EACH do a little we will ALL accomplish A LOT!!!"
