October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. For Maddie's Corner this is a cause very close to our hearts.
We treasure our pets for their unconditional love, their ability to make us smile, and their companionship. Never is this more important than when someone is faced with a life-threatening illness, such as Breast Cancer. We're sure many a person has had their spirits lifted by the gifts of these natural cheerleaders. Indeed, it is one special little spirit-booster that inspired Dogs Do Pink, our unique campaign to bring a message of hope and support to this very important cause.
It's a bit of fashion flair for our furry friends (dogs AND cats). Wouldn't it be great to see a sea of pink at your neighborhood dog park... one day!
